I was so sorry to hear of Hugh’s passing. A life cut too short. I am so glad i got to know Hugh and spend time in his company. The picture I have uploaded is of the four summits in a day where we ran up the 4 principal summits in Wales; Snowdon, Cadair Idris, Pumlumon and Pen y Fan cycling between them. A surreal day of drama and adventure that included  a crashed car, numerous punctures and capped by the rave occurring in Cwm Llwch on the last climb. I was never in the same league of running as Hugh but he was always modest about his formidable abilities and never made me feel second rate (even though i knew i was!).
